Radiusing is the removal or rounding of sharp edges from a component. Components with sharp edges can be difficult to handle and are more likely to become trapped in material handling systems. Typically, components with sharp edges can be radiused to predefined specifications with mass vibratory finishing equipment. High energy centrifugal disc machines are one of the best options for radiusing small or medium sized components.
