Parts with rounded edges slide on and in each other more easily. One example of this is the clip on a car seatbelt, or on a belt buckle. Rounded edges also reduce the risk of injury. Any parts that come in contact with consumer would require the edges to be very smooth and rounded. This is good for medical industry like hip joint parts, knee joints parts and more.

Turbotron centrifugal disc finishing units are best suited to rounding edges on small and medium-sized workpieces, as this process requires a high degree of abrasive power. These systems are up to 10 times more effective than circular vibrators.
